Brooklyn Granary & Mill is a new bakery that is opening in Gowanus, Brooklyn. We also operate a wholesale stone flour milling operation and will use exclusively fresh milled whole grain flour in our bakery. We source all of our grains directly from organic and regenerative farmers in the Northeast and Mid Atlantic. Our bakery will feature these grains as well as seasonal fruits, local dairy, local meat, and other amazing regional agricultural products. We are taking this emphasis on sourcing and relationships to our coffee and tea as well. We will be working with Driftaway Coffee, whose mission is "... to build an equitable value chain by prioritizing women & minority producers" and who have amazingly unique and flavorful coffee. All of our tea will come from Anna Ye Tea. Anna is "(P)roudly devoted to sourcing and importing premium loose leaf teas from Việt Nam..(they) source small batch teas made by producers from different ethnic groups, each reflecting the country's terroir and local making techniques."

We are looking for people who are excited to learn about and work with all of these special products that make up Brooklyn Granary & Mill. Not only a curiosity to learn but also a willingness to educate the customers is required.

The job entails working eight hour shifts on your feet, making coffee, espresso, and tea drinks, and selling bread and baked goods.
