Job Description
Jack & Charlie's, a design-forward bar and restaurant in New York City is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead its craft cocktail program. This is a unique opportunity to join a passionate, hospitality-driven team committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience through meticulous service and beverage artistry.
As Bar Manager, you will oversee a top-tier spirits program rooted in quality, creativity, and seasonal expression. This role demands a combination of leadership, operational expertise, and a strong grasp of cocktail culture.
Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day bar operations, ensuring excellence in service and execution.

Curate and evolve a craft cocktail menu featuring seasonal and original creations.

Train and mentor a skilled bar team, fostering education and consistency.

Maintain bar financials, including inventory, costing, and vendor relations.

Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with NYC DOH.

Collaborate with ownership and culinary teams on programming and events.
Qualifications

3+ years of bar management experience in a high-volume, craft-focused venue.

Deep knowledge of classic cocktails, modern mixology, and spirits.

Strong leadership and communication skills; thrives in a team-first environment.

Sharp attention to detail and ability to manage inventory and bar cost controls.

Requirements:
-Ability to work an open schedule; days, nights, weekends & holidays

-Point of Sale experience
