GENERAL MANAGER
Seppe Pizza Bar is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our team at our new Downtown Manhattan location. As GM you’ll take the lead in running all daily operations, leading an amazing team, making guests feel special, and driving the kind of growth the entire Seppe team can be proud of.
Reporting directly to ownership, you’ll foster a positive workplace culture and play a vital role in Seppe’s growth — with future opportunities as the brand expands.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, motivate, and coach the front-of-house team.
- Hire and train staff who bring great vibes and great service.
- Build smart weekly schedules that balance coverage and labor costs.
- Keep an eye on sales, costs, and inventory — and share insights with ownership.
- Team up with the Back-of-House Manager to keep the FOH & BOH running like clockwork.
- Handle customer feedback with professionalism and a solutions-first attitude.
- Plan and execute special events and private dining experiences.
- Run team meetings and performance check-ins.
- Look for ways to improve daily operations and guest experiences.
- Keep us compliant with all health, safety, and labor rules.
- Manage vendor relationships and keep inventory in check.
- Be a brand ambassador and create loyal regulars.
Who You Are
- 3–5 years as a GM or senior FOH manager in a busy restaurant.
- A natural leader with a track record of building awesome teams.
- Financially savvy — P&L, budgeting, and cost control are in your wheelhouse.
- Great communicator who can keep both staff and guests happy.
- Firm understanding of health/safety regulations and labor laws.
- Calm under pressure and flexible when things change.
- Passionate about hospitality and creating standout guest experiences.
