About Us
Highly-acclaimed Marea, from famed hospitality firm Altamarea Group and located in Central Park South, is looking for energetic & passionate AM / Lunch / Brunch Bussers to join the team. Meaning “tide” in Italian, Marea redefines the seascape of high-end Italian cuisine and selectively looks for individuals who have an entrepreneurial spirit and who thrive in an environment that demands excellence in every dimension. Under the leadership of Corporate Executive Chef, Lauren DeSteno, and General Manager, Mark Lockard, Marea strives to provide superb cuisine and seamless service through teamwork and execution. 

This is an hourly plus tipped position. 

Busser Responsibilities include:

  • Multitask between running food, bussing tables, polishing, making beverages, checking guest restrooms, and all other duties that may be needed to enhance guest experience
  • Demonstrate proper table service and full knowledge of the menu
  • Respond immediately to guests' needs and requests
  • Maintain clean dining room and restaurant and adhere to all health and safety standards

Busser Requirements include:

  • Ability to multi-task and perform in high-volume, high-intensity restaurant
  • Demonstrate warm, friendly, high-energy personality with positive and team-oriented approach
  • Highly organized, efficient, and meticulous
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff
  • Physical requirements include: ability to handle and carry trays, smallware, equipment, or other items up to 50lbs, and to stand, walk up and down stairs, and exert well-paced mobility for extended period of time
  • Flexible schedule and open availability (full-time) to meet business needs
