Experienced Line Cook – Le Coupé (Los Angeles, CA)
Southern food with a modern edge. Chef-run. Scratch kitchen. No shortcuts.

Le Coupé is looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our back-of-house team. We specialize in refined Southern cuisine with a focus on exceptional fried chicken and thoughtful technique. This is not a fast-food kitchen—we’re looking for cooks who take pride in their craft and thrive in a high-paced, chef-driven environment.

What We’re Looking For:
    •    Proven experience in a scratch kitchen, ideally under the leadership of a head or executive chef
    •    Fast, clean, and precise with strong knife skills and a sharp palate
    •    Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
    •    A desire to grow within a company—we promote from within
    •    Available Wednesday–Sunday (full-time or afternoon part time)

    •    Execute dishes with consistency, speed, and attention to detail
    •    Maintain a clean and organized station
    •    Support prep and closing tasks
    •    Uphold health and safety standards

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Chef Craig saw an opportunity to engineer restaurant style food into a quality take out dining experience- and Le Coupé was born in a ghost kitchen in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The name Le Coupé came about in a few ways… aside from being all cooped up from quarantine, the name Le Coupé in French translates to “The Cut”. The cut of Chef Craig’s Fried chicken thigh is what makes his fried chicken unique. He used a technique that frenches the meat off the bone allowing for a unique look and flavor profile and aesthetic. Nearly two years after closing down the original ghost kitchen, Le Coupé has opened on the corner of Melrose and Western with the same staple menu items and several new great additions.
