Aventino Cucina is Hiring a Sous Chef!
We are looking for sous chef to join our growing team! Candidates should have at least two years of experience cooking and managing in a high-volume kitchen. Strong knife skills, time management, and organization are a focus as we teach and cultivate our teams. Experience with pasta, and Italian food in general, is a plus, but not essential.
Aventino is a Roman-Italian restaurant that has been featured in Washingtonian Magazine's 100 best restaurants, Bethesda Magazine, and the Eater 38. Our menu changes regularly based on the seasons, and includes a variety of classic pastas, vegetables, meats and fish. We make most everything in house, and rely heavily on local farms to do so. We provide a positive work environment with growth opportunities. We have experienced chefs teaching essential cooking stills and techniques, We are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow within Aventino and the company at large.
