Kitchen Manager / Chef (Full-Time)

LB Eatery & Wine is a new restaurant by the team behind Lady Baker, one of South Florida’s most beloved bakeries. Located in The Shops at Pembroke Gardens, we offer a chef-driven menu rooted in natural fermentation, locally sourced ingredients, and a curated selection of natural wines. We serve brunch, lunch, and dinner — all anchored by artisanal craft and a sense of community.

The Role:

We’re seeking a Kitchen Manager who also leads by example in the kitchen. This is a rare opportunity to build a team, shape systems, and help launch a highly anticipated opening.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all kitchen operations, including prep, execution, inventory, and sanitation

• Work the line during dinner service and brunch/lunch shifts as needed

• Lead a team of cooks, dishwashers, and prep staff with professionalism and clarity

• Control food and labor costs through efficient planning and ordering

• Partner with ownership to ensure menu consistency and evolve offerings seasonally

• Maintain all BOH and safety compliance

Who You Are:

• 3+ years of experience in a BOH leadership role

• Experienced in both managing a team and cooking hands-on

• Fluent in Spanish and English

• Highly organized, clean, and systems-oriented

• A natural mentor and team builder

• Passionate about ingredient quality and technique — fermentation or scratch cooking a plus
