Ina Mae Tavern & Packaged Goods is a nationally recognized Michelin Bibb Gourmand restaurant and bar in Chicago’s iconic Wicker Park neighborhood. The free-spirited southern establishment pays tribute to the great Mom-and-Pop joints, dive bars and corner stores of New Orleans. Named after chef and co-owner Brian Jupiter’s great-grandmother. Chef is a 2x James Beard semi-finalist and New Orleans native.

Ina Mae Tavern is seeking a Kitchen Manager to join the team. This is a great opportunity for a Kitchen Supervisor on the way up to the next level.

As the Kitchen Manager at Ina Mae Tavern and Packaged Goods, you’ll:

  • Lead the Ina Mae Team-to deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold Ina Mae Tavern and Packaged Goods standards for food quality, safety, and service.
  • Drive the kitchen’s operational performance by managing food costs, inventory, and labor while maintaining a profitable and guest-centric environment.
  • Train and mentor your team to serve killer Southern inspired cuisine while fostering a fun, creative, and high-energy culture.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven leadership in a fast-paced food service environment, with a flair for creativity and passion.
  • Strong skills in kitchen operations, including scheduling and inventory control.
  • A collaborative attitude with the ability to work with a team at large to create a seamless guest experience.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with the ability to train your team on these standards.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($55,000.00 - $60,000.00)
