L’Apéro is the evening extension of L’Appartement 4F—a cozy Brooklyn bakery by day and intimate French wine bar by night. Rooted in community and inspired by the warm, casual dinner parties Ashley and Gautier Coiffard once hosted in their apartment, L’Apéro brings people together over thoughtfully curated natural and biodynamic French wines, artisanal breads, cheeses, and entrees.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Wine Bar Manager to lead the front-of-house operations at L’Apéro. You’ll be responsible for creating a seamless service experience, mentoring and managing staff, overseeing inventory and wine selections, and ensuring that every night at L’Apéro feels like a polished, but intimate dinner party in our space.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing nightly operations and managing the front-of-house team
- Leading with warmth, professionalism, and a strong presence on the floor
- Guiding guests through our wine list and offerings with knowledge and enthusiasm
- Collaborating on wine and menu development alongside our head chef
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Training and scheduling staff
- Handling ordering and inventory for wine and service supplies
- Working closely with ownership and the kitchen team to ensure fluid communication and a seamless experience
- Working closely with our events team to facilitate successful private dinner and cocktail events
- Assist the owner in marketing materials such as newsletters and photos

- Passionate about wine, especially natural and biodynamic producers
