Job Details
The Dinex Group, founded by Chef Daniel Boulud, is seeking a seasoned Chef de Cuisine to lead culinary
operations at OMA Commons, OMA Rooftop, and on-site catering. The ideal candidate must have a
minimum of two years of high-volume catering experience, in addition to a strong background in high-end/
fine dining hospitality. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader with a passion for excellence and team
development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and cleanliness across Commons, Rooftop, and catering.
  •  Lead menu development and seasonal updates.
  •  Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and cost control initiatives.
  •  Hire, train, and supervise BOH staff; manage schedules and payroll (with GM oversight).
  •  Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards.
  •  Maintain strong guest relations and resolve food-related concerns promptly.
  •  Analyze P&L statements and work with the GM to achieve labor and cost goals.

Requirements
  •  Minimum 3 years in a high-end culinary management role.
  •  Proven leadership, training, and kitchen operations experience.
  •  Strong knowledge of food safety practices (NYC Food Handler’s Card required).
  •  Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  •  Ability to manage multiple service areas and work flexible hours.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($85,000.00 - $95,000.00)
