New York City's vibrant Olio e Piú is hiring for Sous Chef in Washington D.C.!


Olio e Più is seeking an experienced Sous Chef who has excellent communication skills, is organized and detail-oriented. The Sous Chef is responsible for helping to produce high-quality plates in both design and taste and ensure the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets company standards.

Background in Italian cuisine highly preferred.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $80,000.00)

Inspired by the simplicity of Neapolitan cuisine, OLIO E PIÙ brings Italian tradition to its community, offering a true sense of Mediterranean liveliness in the heart of Greenwich Village, NYC. Opening soon in D.C., it aims to bring the same vibrant atmosphere to the cherished downtown community.

As an authentic trattoria, its cuisine is based on classic Italian dishes, with a focus on house-made pastas, hand-stretched pizza, and time-honored favorites such as Caprese salad, fritto misto, and tiramisu. The open dining area, traditional wood-fired oven, rustic interior, thin-crust Neapolitan-style pizza, and carefully selected wine and cocktail list bring a piece of old-world Italy to a renowned corner in the Village.

Consistent with its aim of offering Italian cuisine in all its regional glory, OLIO E PIÙ takes great pride in its pasta offerings, from stuffed and noodle-based pasta to gnocchi. The lineup changes according to the season, but carbonara and tagliatelle Bolognese are on the menu year-round as guest favorites.
