Accredited Chef Laurent Tourondel is bringing his culinary expertise to Philadelphia with his new pizzeria restaurant concept Scusi Pizza, opening this June in The Piazza of Northern Liberties.
We are a group of passionate hospitality professionals with a profound sense of culinary pride and passion for service. We are looking for talented restaurant professionals to join our opening team. We require honest, hardworking professionals that manage and mentor others with respect, empathy, and dignity. Experience with previous restaurant openings is not required, but experience with cashiering and food order taking is a plus!
Your job is to work with your fellow team members to provide a professionally curated dining experience for every guest at Scusi Pizza. Everything you do within the restaurant is done with mindfulness and efficiency. As a counter server, you have the job of tending to each guest, guiding them through the menu, and ensuring order accuracy to the kitchen team.
Primary Duties:
To properly manage the front of house, guest relations, order accuracy, beverage and cocktail creation/service, and payment processing/cashiering for every guest at Scusi Pizza. To anticipate the needs of those dining with us.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Willingness to learn
- Clear communication with both kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Able to answer menu questions
- Utilize prep and inventory lists for bar and beverage offerings
- Always ask when in doubt of anything.
- Cocktail prep and creation
- Accurately ring in orders into point-of-sale system
- Able to possess an understanding of all menu items (food and beverage)
- Able to follow all company procedures.
- Able to process payments and handle cash with accuracy
- Follow all food safety guidelines.
