Pizza Cook 

Accredited Chef Laurent Tourondel is bringing his culinary expertise to Philadelphia with his new pizzeria restaurant concept Scusi Pizza, opening soon in The Piazza of Northern Liberties. 

We are a group of passionate hospitality professionals with a profound sense of culinary pride and passion for service. We are looking for talented pizza cooks to join our opening team. We require honest, hardworking professionals that manage and mentor others with respect, empathy, and dignity. Experience with previous restaurant openings is not required, but experience with pizza and dough is a plus!

Your job is to work with your fellow team members to provide a professionally curated dining experience for every guest at Scusi Pizza. Everything you do within the restaurant is done with mindfulness and efficiency. As a pizza cook, you have the job of flawlessly executing the fundamentals of cooking to ensure every item that is served to our guests at Scusi Pizza is memorable.  

Primary Duties: 

To properly execute menu items for Scusi Pizza guests. To work with your fellow team members in a professional manner. To anticipate your station needs.   

 

Major Areas of Responsibility: 

  • Willingness to learn.
  • Clear communication with chefs and kitchen team.  
  • Follow all standardized recipe cards.
  • Utilize prep and inventory lists for the kitchen and stations.  
  • Willingness to learn all stations within the restaurant to allow every kitchen member the ability to help one another when necessary.   
  • Always ask when in doubt of anything.  
  • Able to hand-toss pizza to sizing standards
  • Accurately cook orders in a timely manner. 
  • Able to possess an understanding of all menu items and preparations with training. 
  • Able to follow all company procedures.
  • Ensure that your assigned station is set-up properly for service with all required mise en place and backups.
  • Follow all food safety guidelines. Our highest priority is the safety and freshness of the food we serve our guests.

 


Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly (Based on Experience)
