Point Seven is a modern, ocean-inspired fine dining restaurant located in the iconic Met Life Building on Park Avenue. Led by acclaimed Chef Franklin Becker, our culinary experience is a tribute to the Earth’s elemental beauty—especially its vast, oceanic soul. Our mission is to create a refined and welcoming atmosphere where each guest feels transported by both flavor and service.
We are currently seeking a full-time Host/Hostess to be the face of our front of house—someone who brings warmth, poise, and professionalism to every interaction. This role is essential in setting the tone for the guest experience from the moment they walk through our doors.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome guests with a polished, friendly demeanor
• Manage reservations and seating assignments using OpenTable
• Answer phone calls promptly and professionally
• Handle reservation requests and inquiries by phone and in-person
• Communicate clearly and effectively with the management and service teams
• Maintain a smooth and organized guest flow during service
• Handle guest inquiries and special requests efficiently and courteously
Qualifications:
• Energetic, outgoing, and genuinely passionate about hospitality
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Calm under pressure and solutions-driven
• Strong multi-tasker with excellent time management skills
• Comfortable speaking on the phone with professionalism and warmth
• Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
• Punctual, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards of service
• Professional appearance and communication at all times

Compensation: Hourly ($21.00 - $25.00)
