Position Overview:
As a Server Assistant (Busser/Food Runner) at Niku X, you are essential to delivering a seamless, elevated guest experience. You are the bridge between the kitchen and the dining room — ensuring precision in timing, presentation, and hospitality. Every movement you make supports the larger choreography of a flawless service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dishes from the kitchen to guests with grace and precision, articulating dish components when necessary.
• Support servers by clearing, resetting, and maintaining tables throughout service, ensuring an immaculate dining environment.
• Assist in managing table maintenance — water service, bread service, and other guest requests — with an anticipatory, detail-oriented approach.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in all service areas, including expo and back stations.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow.
• Uphold Niku X’s standards for timing, table presentation, and guest engagement.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols with absolute diligence.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting the entire service team.
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and calmly under pressure.
• A polished, professional demeanor and attention to the finer points of guest interaction.
• Ability to lift, carry, and balance heavy trays and move swiftly through a high-volume dining room.
• A genuine passion for hospitality, excellence, and personal growth.
