We are currently seeking dependable and skilled Sushi Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our dynamic back-of-house team. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, refined, and team-driven kitchen that blends traditional Japanese techniques with modern execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute food prep and cooking with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
- Ensure proper station setup before, during, and after service
- Follow recipes and plating standards consistently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas
- Comply with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Communicate effectively with chefs and teammates to ensure smooth service
- Assist with inventory and receiving deliveries when needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Sushi Line Cook experience (fine dining or Japanese cuisine a plus)
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a high-volume kitchen
- Punctual, reliable, and a team player
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
