Join our Team! We are hiring team members for our upcoming location at Hudson Yards, opening early May 2025.
Vive la Crêpe, established in 2009, brings delicious savory and sweet crêpes, made fresh to order, to New York City. Currently with three locations and two more on the way in 2025, we are seeking team members to join us as we expand! If you are obsessed with creating great guest experiences, are passionate about crepes & coffee, we want to speak to you!
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Greet customers, provide menu guidance, and ensure a pleasant customer experience.
- Operate the cash register, handle transactions, and process refunds when applicable.
- Prepare and cook crêpes and beverages quickly, following recipes and portion guidelines.
- Prepare food for service (e.g. slicing vegetables, preparing sauces, etc)
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, meeting all health and sanitation standards.
- Restock supplies and set up stations at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Cross-sell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Address and resolve customer complaints, involving management as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely, high-quality service.

Position Requirements:
- Available for nights, weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule.
- Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and basic PC skills.
- Capable of performing under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, with food service experience preferred. High school diploma or GED required; food handler's certification is a plus.
The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($16.50 - $17.75) plus tips
