Job Summary: We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our team at Jarabe for the PM and Weekend Shifts.  As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences to our valued guests. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will ensure that our customers have a memorable and enjoyable time at our establishment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat customers, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations regarding food and beverages.
• Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar promptly.
• Serve food and drinks to customers and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Monitor tableware, glasses, and utensils to ensure they are clean and presentable.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
• Regularly check on customers to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs.
• Process payments, issue accurate checks, and handle cash transactions following established procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members, including kitchen staff and management, to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dining tables and service stations.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the dining area before and after service.
• Stay up-to-date with menu items, specials, and restaurant promotions.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or bar is preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays and supplies when necessary.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
