Recently named to Eater's 38 Essential Los Angeles Restaurants, OyBar features modern bar/bistro food served in a 1970s vintage neighborhood bar. Our beverage and cocktails program celebrates the comfort and familiarity of the neighborhood bar through the global lens of LA. Our food is rooted in our Chef's Jewish-American traditions and inspired by his love the cultural and culinary diversity of Los Angeles. - 2 years experience in the food service industry at least with
- 2 years serving
- Multitask between food and wine service
- Work in small team setting with a positive and mutually supportive attitude
- Open to training and learning new techniques to better suit the space
- Basic understanding of spirits/wine/beer
- Flexible hours including on call availability
- Passion for providing hospitality above all for guests
- Be able to communicate with guests while not lowering the pace of work or focus
- Be able to adapt to a changing menu of cocktails and food
- Open wine bottles
- Pour wine
- Host experience helpful as servers frequently manage walk in traffic at the front door.
The environment is fast paced in an active neighborhood.
