Day Time Lunch and Brunch Line Cook

Daisies, is a midwest, vegetable-focused, Italian inspired restaurant, nestled in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood.
Daisies has been awarded a Michelin Green Star for sustainability (2023 & 2024), a Michelin Bib Gourmand (2018-2024), New York Times 2023 Restaurant List, James Beard Award Semi-Finalist (2024), Jean Banchet Awards "Best Restaurant" Finalist (2024).
We believe we are a place where creativity meets tradition; our ever-changing menu (i.e. seasonal, changing sometimes daily in the summers), crafted around Midwest-grown vegetable and handcrafted pastas, is looking for someone to master and manage their own station as a Line Cook, with the guidance and support of our dedicated prep cooks and sous chefs.
Some of our specialties include fermentation (i.e. peppers, tomato, celery, fennel, mushrooms, etc.), pasta production from scratch, and fresh and ethically sourced ingredients. We have 30+ menu items, including 10-12 handmade pastas. The majority of our ingredients are sourced from our own family's farms in Michigan.
In this fast-paced kitchen, we will hone in on your existing skills and give you plenty of opportunity to learn new ones; you will leave each day at Daisies a better cook than when you walked in. Quick-learning, as well as a sense of urgency and drive, when it comes to your job here is essential.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $21.00)
