Job Title: Payroll Processor
Location: On-Site, Center City, Philadelphia, PA
Reports to: Controller/Chief Financial Officer
Classification: Exempt, Full-Time
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Summary/Objective
The Payroll Processor is responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll while supporting key accounting functions such as accounts payable, vendor management, and daily sales entry across multiple restaurant locations.
Essential Functions

- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data from Restaurant Management.
- Process multiple bi-weekly payrolls and ensure accuracy of wages, taxes, deductions, and leave balances.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies, maintain compliance with internal policies, and provide prompt support for employee payroll inquiries.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of all payroll-related information.
- Manage accounts payable by processing and verifying invoices, entering data into Restaurant365, preparing checks, and maintaining vendor files.
- Reconcile daily sales entries and assist in maintaining the invoice management system across multiple locations.
- Address vendor inquiries, resolve payment issues, and ensure accurate matching of invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Provide general administrative support, including document handling, filing, and other office-related duties as needed.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 50 pounds. The employee may spend over 4 hours daily standing or walking.
Required Education and Experience
- Prior experience using ADP Workforce Now, Teamwork by SpotOn/Dolce or other Payroll software required.
- Prior experience using Restaurant365 or other accounting software is a plus.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Must be detail oriented and review work for consistency and potential errors.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work solo or within a team to complete projects.
- Prior experience in the Hospitality industry, including experience with tipped employees, is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook.
