Pavé NYC, Midtown's busy Bakery/Cafe is looking for an experienced service professional to join our team!

Are you a hard worker and want to join a company in the hospitality sector for a stability or to grow? We are looking for that someone who can show every day in and day out, maintain our cafe, run food, bus tables, understand our food inside and out and keep the place sparkling.  Candidate must be able to read, write and speak English.

Applicant should have a minimum of two year experience/exposure working in the hospitality sector with a strong sense of urgency and calm under pressure.

We are looking for a candidate who can perform following tasks on a daily basis:
-run food and bus tables
-set up station for daily service, which includes but not limited to stocking and stamping
-cafe maintenance of cafe (about 60 seats)
-inventory maintenance
-work with cashier/barista to facilitate overall guest experience

An applicant must be able to work Sundays and be able to work around 40 hours a week.
Starting wage including tips based on a 40 hour work week will be around $1000 (before taxes) and will be subject to review for a raise.

Benefits include 401k eligibility after six months of employment, paid personal days (40 hours) after one year of employment and employee discount (50%) on all products offered.

Chef Won hails from South Korea, with a background in theology. He has honed his skills in numerous fine establishments such as Jungsik Seoul as the original Executive Pastry Chef, ultimately leading to uprooting his family to New York to open Jungsik New York, which won 2-Michelin star honor during his tenure.
A graduate of CIA (The Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park), Chef Won concurrently works as the sole proprietor of La Tabatiere, located in Closter, NJ. It is hailed as one of the best bakeries in Northern New Jersey.
