JF Restaurants by Michelin-Starred and Award-winning Chef John Fraser is hiring Food Runners to join our team! In 2019, in partnership with Ian Schrager, JF Restaurants opened The Times Square Edition and oversees all food and beverage at the new 452-room hotel in Times Square. For the past 10 years, Chef John Fraser has built a renowned restaurant group, garnishing industry wide recognition, multiple Michelin Stars, and favorable accolades from the New York Times.
*Open AM availability is required.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares the expo station with all necessary items, i.e. wipes, plates, tasting spoons, folded towels
- Delivers dishes and provides guests with succinct descriptions
- Supports the dining room by polishing glassware and silverware
- Maintains a readiness to assist the kitchen in any way
- Actively communicating with bussers to ensure steps of service are most efficiently accomplished, i.e. silverware and plateware resets before new dishes drop
- Follow rules and regulations relevant to DOH codes and good hygiene
- Complete pre-shift and post-shift side work with efficiency
- Attend all mandatory meetings
- Begin each shift prepared, sharp, and in uniform
- Vigilant in recognizing opportunities to surpass standards of service to more greatly express style and hospitality
Requirements:
- Experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment and ability to multi-task and work under pressure while still being detail oriented and personable.
- AM Availability required
- Strong attention to detail and great communication skills
- Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
- The ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion
- Ability to read, write and speak proficient English.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($16.50)
