POSITION SUMMARY:
To serve alcoholic beverages as ordered and food orders in a prompt, friendly and professional manner to our in house guests.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Requisition all supplies as needed
- Prepare garnishes as prescribed: limes, lemons, etc.
- Ensure adequate supply of clean glassware.
- Wipe down liquor bottles to maintain cleanliness.
- Supply towels and maintain pool area.
- Assure that all drinks served are recorded properly on the POS
- Take guest orders at the pool.
- Settle all guest transactions on each round of drinks.
- Offer menus when requested.
- Demonstrate alcohol awareness – knowing when to stop serving a customer.
- Shall request identification when legal age is in question.
- Assist fellow co-workers and guests to ensure delivery of standards of service without being directed. Be aware of team members and environment and participate as a member of the team.
- Responsible seeing that daily assignments and side work is complete in their respective areas, to meet Club standards and as communicated in the service expectations (i.e. orderly/organized work areas, consistently sanitary work areas, refill/stock containers and supplies, etc.)
- Notify supervisor of guest complaints at the time they occur. Rectify, practicing service recovery, any complaints as soon as possible.
- Responsible for possessing clear knowledge of all various liquors, beer, and wines available by the Hotel.
- Must be able to interact with guests professionally, helping them with changes and last minute requests as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining good conduct and safe working habits while in all areas and assuring others are acting safely.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum One Year working in high-volume experience.
- Must have a current food handler's card.
- Clean work habits and attention to detail.
- Resourceful and well organized.
- Ability to multi-task & maintain poise and a sense of humor amidst a fast paced and demanding environment.
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale. system, punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
- Standing and walking eight-hour shifts.
- Experience in luxury hospitality highly preferred.
- Required, and must have open availability, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation: Hourly ($20.32) plus tips
