Nice Matin, an established French Bistro for over two decades, is searching for a poised, polished, and professional presence to be the ambassador of our restaurant and lead our Front of House door team. As Maître'd you will play a pivotal role in setting the tone the moment our guests walk into our dining room with warmth and genuine hospitality, overseeing a seamless flow of our dining service, and increasing overalls covers with Resy and OpenTable platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead our door team in greeting guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Managing reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover.
• Anticipating and accommodating the needs and preferences of guests, ensuring their satisfaction during their dining experience.
• Coordinating with the kitchen and waitstaff with regards to regular diners, allergies, celebrations, etc. 
• Monitor and manage the flow of the dining room, adjusting seating assignments, and managing service timing.
• Resolving any guest concerns or issues promptly and courteously, striving to exceed expectations at every opportunity.
• Cultivating and nurturing relationships with regular patrons, enhancing their loyalty and satisfaction with each visit.

Requirements:

• Refined appearance and sense of style are essential
• Proven experience as a Maître'd or in a similar role within a fine dining establishment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for providing outstanding hospitality.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of service and professionalism.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
