Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival. Answer telephone, take reservations and manage the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table that best serves their wishes.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Warmly and graciously greets all guests upon arrival
- Provide guests with estimated waiting time, always maintaining a professional, courteous attitude when confronted with hostile, impatient or irate guests
- To seat guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations
- Thanks guests as they leave and invite them to return. Relay guest comments or suggestions to the manager on duty
- To ensure high level of communication between the restaurant and other departments of the hotel
- To perform other duties as assigned by the manager on duty
- To Promote other Firmdale Hotels and restaurants
- To take personal responsibility for punctuality
REQUIREMENTS:
- Friendly demeanour
- Excellent level of spoken and written English
- Must be open to working AM/PM shifts, week days, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long hours
- Open table certification preferably
- Open Tablet reservations experience

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($19.00 - $22.00) plus tips
