Job Details
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at our casual dining ramen restaurant. As a Ramen Cook/Line Cook, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality, authentic ramen dishes and other menu items in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared to the highest standards and served promptly to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook ramen dishes and other menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of the kitchen line.
  • Ensure the proper storage of food and ingredients, adhering to safety and freshness guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth service.
  • Monitor inventory and inform the kitchen manager of any stock shortages or equipment needs.
  • Keep track of cooking times and presentation standards to ensure quality control.
  • Assist with prepping ingredients and cleaning tasks as needed.
Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary setting, preferably in ramen or Asian cuisine.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper kitchen sanitation.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $20.00)
