Agency of Record is hiring Cocktail Bartenders. The Bartender position is a pooled-tip service role that works closely with the management team and all other front-of-house and back-of-house team members.  The Bartender is responsible for creating cocktails for the guests, as well as creating the cocktail list as well as organizing. The Bartender should be an expert in spirits, liqueurs and cocktails and should have a strong knowledge of the menu and wine list.

Competencies & Qualifications:

• 1.5 years minimum experience as a Bartender working in a cocktail focused program
• High volume cocktail experience - double jigger skills preferred. 
• Knowledge of and interest in fine cuisine and wines
• Outstanding knowledge of liquors and spirits
• Actively practice food safety procedures 
• Organizational skill
• Pleasant demeanor
• Positive and clear written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to engage guests successfully and build a relationship
• Previous experience in a fine dining environment preferred

Essential Duties:

• Greet all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness
• Engage the guests to create positive dining experiences
• Create cocktail list
• Prepare the mise en place for the bar
• Pour all drinks for bar guests and from printed tickets for servers
• Execute on-going side work
• Open and close the bar as needed
• Assist with inventory of all alcohol and beverages as needed
• Maintain the bar clean at all times
• Be knowledgeable of food items and wine list
