Looking for experienced Chef de cuisine to lead our culinary team. Our culinary philosophy revolves around using the finest, quality ingredients available. We are a very busy high volume established Times Square restaurant with a loyal following.
Experience:
- 7 years of culinary experience in fine dining and high volume restaurant
- NYC food handlers certificate a must
- Ability to manage a team of 15-20 kitchen staff members
- Spanish language is strongly preferred
- Computer proficient
- Budgeting skills to control costs
- Experience ordering all supplies
- Incredible food preparation abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Experience expediting extreme rush/ busy time
- Present specials and update current menu
- Working directly with the owner and FOH management team
