A notable restaurant group with locations throughout Southern California is looking for a seasoned General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations at their newest location in Calabasas, CA. They are committed to chef and product-driven food, warm hospitality, a craft bar, and unique and cutting-edge design. They are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic General Manager who's passionate about hospitality and seeks growth in an expanding company. The right person will be experienced in leading a large team of managers and staff, have a proven track record of successfully opening restaurants, and be dedicated to our standards and people. Opening experience a plus!
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a General Manager in a contemporary, chef-driven, full-service restaurant, opening experience a plus!
- Proven track record in developing and leading a successful team to excellence
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of business ops and financials
- Wine and spirit knowledge and an understanding of industry trends
- Quick problem solver with a knack for turning tough situations into positive outcomes
- A flexible schedule. Mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays are required
