North Pond, a fine dining restaurant with 27 years of service in the heart of Lincoln Park, is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our experienced team. The restaurant overlooks the pond and the beautiful Chicago skyline. In this role, you will play an integral part in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. Previous fine dining experience is highly valued, as are strong interpersonal skills including empathy, patience, tolerance, and cooperation.
This full-time position (minimum 40 hours per week) includes three days off, with a schedule of Thursday through Sunday and competitive pay based on experience. We are committed to the growth of our employees. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our chefs, contributing to the creative process. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and collaborate with the area’s best farmers, utilizing pristine seasonal produce. Additionally, you will participate in our gardening and composting program, caring for the vegetables and herbs on our rooftop garden.
