EUNOIA – SEEKING GENERAL MANAGER TO LEAD OPENING TEAM
Eunoia is a new restaurant opening soon in the heart of NoMa, Washington, D.C., led by Executive Chef Josa Maldonado. With a vision rooted in thoughtful creativity, seasonality, and hospitality with intention, Eunoia will be a reflection of years spent working in some of the world’s most acclaimed kitchens — including the Michelin-starred The French Laundry.
We're building something special from the ground up — and we’re looking for a General Manager to help us bring it to life. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the culture, service philosophy, and guest experience of a restaurant from day one, alongside a team driven by purpose and excellence.
What we're looking for:

Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a fine dining environment

Background in Michelin-starred or critically acclaimed restaurants strongly preferred

An unwavering attention to detail and a genuine passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences

Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

Highly organized, solutions-oriented, and committed to high standards

A deep love for food and beverage, with a hunger to keep learning and evolving

Open availability, including weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor the front-of-house team through pre-opening and beyond

Maintain service standards, guest experience, and nightly execution

Cultivate a positive, growth-oriented team culture

Work closely with ownership and leadership to meet operational and financial goals

Oversee FOH labor, scheduling, and staff development

Manage all front-of-house ordering and inventory

Ensure the restaurant remains in pristine condition, both front and back of house

Contribute ideas and energy to help bring Eunoia’s vision to life
