Position Overview:
The Pastry Cook will assist in the preparation and execution of all desserts, breads, and pastries for breakfast, lunch, dinner service, and special events. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding pastry work.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, desserts, and plated sweets according to recipes and standards.

Assist with the development of seasonal dessert menus and special event offerings.

Ensure the highest quality and consistency in every product served.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Manage inventory, minimize waste, and communicate needs for pastry-specific ingredients and supplies.

Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless service.

Decorate pastries and desserts using a variety of techniques and styles.

Assist with breakfast pastry and bread preparation as needed.

Stay current with pastry trends and techniques to continuously enhance our offerings.
Qualifications:

2-3 years pastry experience in a professional kitchen, fine dining preferred.

Formal pastry or culinary training is a plus.

Strong foundation in classic pastry techniques.

Creative eye for presentation and flavor pairings.

Ability to work efficiently and with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
