Line Cook

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring high-quality dishes are served efficiently. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to maintain a clean, organized, and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper food storage and handling.
• Assist with ingredient preparation, such as chopping vegetables and preparing sauces.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Follow instructions from the Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager.
• Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment and maintaining overall cleanliness.
• Adapt to special requests and dietary restrictions as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• MUST have a valid California Food Handler's Certification, or able to acquire one upon being hired.
