About Mommy’s:

Mommy’s is a Cocktail Bar & Lounge that recently opened in Williamsburg, right off of Graham Ave. L Train. We aim to pair great cocktails, with a relaxed atmosphere, and finish it off with some great bites.

The position will require that you wear different hats, as we are a small venue.

• Guests order drinks at the bar (we do not have servers)
• We do not offer table service, but food will be required to be dropped off at tables
• Our food program has recently taken off and has been very popular!
• We do host private parties, and sometimes it can be quite busy - we expect Bartenders to be able to work quickly and efficiently in handling a high volume of Guests

• Monday - Thursday | 2:00 pm - 3:00 am
• Friday | 2:00 pm - 4:00 am
• Saturday | 12:00 pm - 4:00 am
• Sunday | 12:00 pm - 3:00 am

Detailed Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:
1. Greeting customers and offering menus. 
2. Taking drink orders and making recommendations.
3. Serving beverages and providing good customer service. 
4. Monitoring customer intoxication levels and ensuring responsible alcohol service.
2. Beverage Preparation:
1. Mixing drinks according to recipes. 
2. Preparing and serving various types of drinks. 
3. Using bar equipment and ingredients correctly. 
4. Preparing ingredients and Signature Cocktails for Bar
3. Financial Transactions:
1. Processing cash and credit card payments. 
2. Balancing cash receipts and recording sales. 
4. Bar Maintenance:
1. Cleaning glasses, bar utensils, and work areas.
2. Maintaining a clean and organized bar environment. 
3. Restocking bar supplies and inventory. 
5. Other Responsibilities:
1. Verifying customer IDs and ages. 
2. Adhering to local and national liquor laws. 
3. Assisting with food service if required.   
4. Communicating and coordinating with other staff members, such as the kitchen
