Job Description

Ballers is seeking a passionate and experienced Beverage Supervisor to assist in overseeing beverage bar service, manage bartenders, and assist with ordering and inventory controls. This role ensures smooth bar operations, exceptional customer service, and adherence to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has leadership skills, a deep understanding of mixology, and a proactive approach to driving beverage sales and cost efficiency.  The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for promoting physical activity and healthy living. 

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Supervise daily bar operations to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at all times.
• Ensure consistency in drink preparation, presentation, and quality.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and address any service issues promptly.
• Supervise and support bartenders to maintain high service standards.
• Assist with hiring, training, and mentoring bar staff on drink recipes, service etiquette, and safety protocols.
• Foster a positive and professional work environment for the bar team.
• Assist in managing beverage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock control.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to minimize waste and control costs.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to track sales trends and adjust ordering accordingly.
• Help develop and implement new cocktail menus, seasonal promotions, and drink specials.
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws, safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service policies.
• Work with management to analyze beverage sales and suggest strategies for increasing revenue.

 Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bar Supervisor, Lead Bartender, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with POS systems and inventory management.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations for beverage service.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in using computer software programs
• Background checks, RAMP and Serve Safe Certified
