We are a community bakery in Bushwick providing a welcoming and positive experience to all our community members. With quality-focused, locally-sourced ingredients, we create artisan bread, French viennoiseries, sandwiches and serve Sey coffee.
Candidates should have a great deal of respect for their craft and be willing to learn and grow in a small, hands-on and fast-paced environment. This is a small 5 bakers team.
We are committed to using local farms for our dairy and much of our produce. Including sourcing wheat berries, rye and buckwheat from upstate farms and milling in-house. Experience in European artisan style bread and in traditional viennoiserie a big plus.
Our current shifts on Saturdays and Sundays start at 1:30 AM and go through approximately 10 AM.
On weekdays our shifts start at 2:30 AM and go through approximately 11 AM.
Our current opening is primarily for weekday shifts.
This position involves shifts beginning early morning and candidates must be prepared to organize their schedule accordingly.
Compensation based on experience and skills, as well as performance during trail.

Requirements:
• Full-time or part-time availability
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude, with the motivation to achieve excellent results
• At least 2 year in a bakery or kitchen environment
