Reserve Cut Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our team in the heart of downtown in New York City. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving overall business performance.
Salary: $115,000 - $125,000
What You’ll Do: - Lead, train, and inspire a high-performing team
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional customer service
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure a successful operation for FOH and BOH
- Oversee the cleanliness of the front of house and the entire venue, ensuring DOH rules are followed
- Oversee and approve schedules, identifying areas of growth, and creating team member development and training for FOH
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, labor, and cost controls
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality
- Lead and participate in any and all training sessions, departmental meetings including pre-shift
- Build and maintain a positive, team-oriented work culture
- Oversee the completion of daily side work and other tasks given to team members
- Display a positive and friendly attitude, welcoming guests and giving them a warm departure
- Posses extensive knowledge of all food and beverage items
- Coaches and/or develop FOH team members by setting clear goals and expectations
- Ensure all FOH team members are following guidelines provided and are compliant with all FOH SOP's
- Interview, hire, and implement training program for all new hires
- Work closely with he VP of Operations to ensure best practices are met and we reach our greatest potential
Who You Are:- Minimum of 6+ years of General Manager or senior leadership experience within a high volume setting is essential
- Strong Guest satisfaction foundation, ability to coach, build a team, and problem solve
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Posses in-depth knowledge of operational systems including payroll and inventory
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to manage budgets and improve business performance
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- NYC hospitality experience strongly preferred
- Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with strong attention to detail
