Opened in December 2024, Shy Shy is a Pacific Northwest-inspired bar in Chelsea, brought to you by the team behind Jungle Bird. With a cocktail menu designed to capture the elegance of golden-hour martinis and a warm, energetic atmosphere, we provide a lively yet refined hospitality experience.
We are looking for Support Staff to join our team. This is an essential role in ensuring smooth service, maintaining a well-run space, and delivering an excellent guest experience. Ideal candidates are hardworking, team-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in keeping service stations, bar, and back-of-house areas stocked and organized.
- Support the team by running food, clearing tables, and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Restock ice, glassware, and other essential items throughout service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Anticipate the needs of the team and proactively assist where needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience – 3+ year in a hospitality setting preferred but not required.
- Work Ethic – Ability to move quickly, stay organized, and be proactive.
- Team Player – Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Physical Stamina – Ability to lift and carry heavy items and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Availability – Open schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
