For over 25 years, we’ve been a leader in off-premise catering, serving Fortune 500 companies, fashion houses, universities, weddings, and historic venues. As a woman-owned, family-run business, we blend tradition with innovation, operating out of two cutting-edge facilities spanning 30,000+ sq ft. Now, as we expand across the Tri-State area, we need an Executive Sous Chef to help us continue delivering exceptional food experiences at scale.
What You'll Do
- Innovate & Create – Contribute to the development of trendsetting menus and refine recipes across a variety of cuisines and product lines.
- Lead & Motivate – Manage, mentor, and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Hands-On Culinary Leadership – Oversee the day-to-day production, working directly with fresh ingredients, ensuring impeccable food quality and timely execution.
- Elevate Catering Excellence – Support kitchen operations during large-scale, high-profile events, ensuring each one meets our top-tier standards.
- Optimize & Scale – Contribute to operational efficiencies, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly as we scale our catering and co-packing production.
- Flexibility & Adaptability – Manage at a high level while remaining adaptable to changing conditions and performing other duties as assigned by the CEO/Chef de Cuisine.
What You Bring
- Creative Vision – A passion for developing contemporary, innovative, and exciting menu offerings.
- Experience – 5+ years in kitchen operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in off-premise catering or high-volume kitchens.
- Catering Expertise – Extensive experience managing large-scale catering production, ensuring seamless event execution.
- Leadership Skills – Proven ability to teach, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, including creating and implementing training programs, managing schedules, and overseeing labor controls.
- Efficiency-Oriented – A focus on improving processes and workflows to enhance kitchen productivity and food quality.
- Bilingual Advantage – Proficiency in Kitchen Spanish is a plus!
