Chez Mia draws inspiration from the South of France, offering guests a transportive culinary experience in the heart of Los Angeles with its blend of high-quality cuisine and a picturesque setting reminiscent of the French Riviera.

Chez Mia boasts an expansive 8,900-square-foot space, featuring a lush outdoor dining area with a 30-seat bar flanked by two striking nine-foot fountains. Designed by the acclaimed firm Fettle, the interior exudes European elegance with gold mohair banquettes, Italian-inspired chandeliers, and whimsical folkloric accents, creating an intimate and romantic ambiance. 

ROLE SUMMARY

Chez Mia is seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead our French fine dining restaurant in West Hollywood. This role is for a gritty, motivated, and entrepreneurial leader who can own both operations and business performance at the highest level. You thrive in a fast-paced, luxury dining environment and understand that hospitality is both an art and a system—you don’t just react, you design and implement processes that deliver excellence every night.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own Full P&L Responsibility – Drive profitability, manage budgets, and optimize margins.
  • Lead & Inspire the Team – Build and develop a high-performance front-of-house team, fostering a culture of hospitality and excellence.
  • Optimize Operations – Oversee service flow, reservations, staffing, and inventory as interconnected systems, constantly improving efficiency.
  • Deliver Luxury Service – Ensure that every guest experiences exceptional hospitality through precise execution and attention to detail.
  • Drive Business Performance – Manage scheduling, labor costs, and vendor relationships while maintaining a five-star standard.
  • Stay Resilient Under Pressure – Lead with confidence in a high-volume, high-expectation environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven Leader in Fine Dining – You’ve successfully managed a luxury or high-volume restaurant in LA or a comparable market.
  • Strategic & Hands-On – You can zoom in on operational details while keeping an eye on the big picture.
  • Business-Savvy – You understand cost control, margins, labor optimization, and financial performance.
  • Emotionally Intelligent & Team-Driven – You build strong teams, handle challenges with grace, and bring out the best in your people.
  • Hospitality Obsessed – You’re passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • A proven track record of growth: You’ve worked your way up from server to floor manager to AGM to GM to Director of Operations.
  • Minimum 5+ years of management experience in fine dining or high-end hospitality.
  • Strong familiarity with luxury service standards, high-end clientele, and top-tier restaurant operations.
  • Deep understanding of restaurant finances, operational efficiency, and team leadership.
  • Experience working in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, or other high-end hospitality markets.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($120,000.00 - $160,000.00)
