Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team at our vibrant café. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee supplies, food items, and retail products.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain compliance with health regulations within the café environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Experience

• Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for effective sales transactions is beneficial.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing payments.
• Basic math skills to assist with inventory management and sales reporting.
• A genuine interest in coffee culture and knowledge of various brewing techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
