Opening February 2025, we’re seeking experienced bartenders to join our team for an exciting multi-concept project. The team from Golden Diner is bringing two distinct yet complementary dining experiences under one roof: Golden HOF and NY Kimchi.
About Golden HOFGolden HOF is a lively, fun, and dynamic space inspired by traditional Korean-style HOF bars. With casual pub vibes and a modern twist, our menu features classic anju, jjigae, and shareable dishes, perfectly paired with a creative beverage program highlighting Korean liquors, craft beers, and original cocktails. It’s a high-energy, fast-paced environment where guests come to enjoy great company, drinks, and delicious food.
About NY KimchiNY Kimchi offers a more refined yet equally adventurous dining experience. A modern raw bar and steakhouse with deep Korean influences, our menu showcases high-quality American steak cuts and fresh crudo, infused with Korean flavors. Complemented by expertly crafted wines and Korean-inspired cocktails, this is dining with sophistication and boldness.

The Role: BartenderAs a
bartender, you’ll be the face of the bar and a key player in shaping the guest experience. Positioned at the front of the space, the bar serves as the first point of contact for many guests. Bartenders must combine technical skill with exceptional hospitality, ensuring every drink and interaction reflects the high standards of Golden HOF and NY Kimchi.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Interaction: Welcome guests at the bar with warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism, serving as an ambassador for the space.
- Beverage Expertise: Provide knowledgeable recommendations on cocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages, guiding both guests and staff with confidence.
- Service Excellence: Ensure thorough, prompt service for all guests at the bar, whether seated or standing.
- Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and presentation for every drink, adhering strictly to house specifications (no free pours).
What We’re Looking For
- A passion for beverages and hospitality with experience in crafting cocktails and providing exceptional guest service.
- Strong attention to detail, consistency, and adherence to house standards.
- A calm, welcoming demeanor, especially in high-energy and fast-paced environments.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Interest in Korean-inspired beverages and culinary concepts is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Weekend + Holiday availability a must!
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10 – 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on a regular (or occasional basis).
- Ability to stand for prolong periods of time.
- Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
- Climbing steps regularly.
