The Rockaway Hotel is looking for an awesome bartender to join our team this season, who will be able to create a variety of craft cocktails from our signature cocktail list. Our ideal candidate will meet and exceed customers' needs and expectations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drink
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar supplies
• Stay guest focused and create an excellent customer experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Skills:

• Proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits
