This position is for an AM Prep Cook Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and slicing vegetables, and cutting meats.
- Measure and portion ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
- Prepare basic items like salads, dressings, sauces, and marinades.
- Ensure that the kitchen is fully stocked with ingredients and supplies and inform the chef when more are needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning work surfaces, and sanitizing equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering, to health and safety regulations.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly.
- Follow food handling protocols, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control to prevent contamination.
- Perform opening and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines.
- Follow all local and state fire life safety guidelines.
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
