Lucky Danger Chinatown, our flagship restaurant, is opening this Spring, and we’re looking for friendly, experienced ,and dynamic Line cooks to join our team.
About the Role: Line cooks will work closely with the chef in cooking Modern American Chinese Cuisine. Stations include: Sauté, Grade Manger, Wok, Large Format.
Line Cook Job Responsibilities:
- Setting up and helping to prep station for service
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces during and at the end of the shift.
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Line Cook Qualifications/Skills:
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
- Ability to work as a team member
- Follows directions and instructions
