Busser/Runner
Red Hook Tavern is looking for a great supporting back server.
Like the entire staff at Red Hook Tavern, our busser/runner should be frendly, hardworking, and excitied to learn more about food, wine, and hospitality. Come and be a part of our great team!
Job Description:
- Work closely with team of servers, bartenders, hosts, dishwashers, chef & cooks in a fast-paced service environment
- Present a neat and professional appearance
- Provide professional, friendly and engaging service
- Ensure food orders are correct before delivering to guests
- Ensure patio and dining setup is well stocked and clean
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
- Assist in patio setup & breakdown
- Display enthusiasm and knowledge about the Tavern's menu and ingredients
- Complete all opening and closing busser/runner side work and mise en place in a timely fashion
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and walk/stand for 8 hours
- Punctuality
- Attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Positive attitude
- Team player
- Provide proof of Covid vaccination status
Strong time management skills are needed to prioritize duties and maintain the patio and dininig room's flow of guests. Adaptability and weekend availability a must! We are currently serving lunch 3 days and dinner 7 days a week.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($11.00) plus tips
