Fiola Mare is our premier coastal Italian seafood restaurant located on the Georgetown waterfront, offering refined, luxurious dining with sweeping views and world-class hospitality. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and hospitality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain full knowledge of beverage programs, cocktail recipes, and menu offerings
  • Provide warm, attentive, and engaging service to all guests at the bar and in the dining room
  • Anticipate and accommodate guest needs throughout service
  • Establish and maintain positive guest relationships
  • Set up and maintain the bar according to established layout and standards
  • Prepare juices, garnishes, syrups, and other bar components
  • Stock and maintain all bar products including beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Present menus and provide thoughtful food and beverage recommendations
  • Accurately prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests and service bar tickets
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area at all times
  • Follow all cash-handling and reporting procedures accurately
  • Verify identification of guests who appear under the age of 30
  • Monitor guest consumption and maintain responsible alcohol service standards
  • Complete daily reports and closing procedures
  • Assist with inventory and counting of bar and service items
  • Complete all opening, side work, handover, and closing duties as required
  • Maintain professional grooming and appearance standards
  • Communicate guest preferences and feedback effectively to management and team members
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • Perform additional duties as directed by management

Compensation:

  • Top-performing bartenders have the opportunity to earn up to $100,000 in total annual compensation

Benefits include:

  • Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants offers full-time employees company-subsidized health insurance. A full-time employee must work an average of 30 hours per week to qualify for health insurance benefits. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following the employee’s 60th day of employment. The insurance enrollment period is between 30 and 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess strong bartending skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum 3 years of bartending experience in fine dining or upscale casual restaurants (high-volume experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, and spirits
  • Exceptional guest service and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with fine dining standards
  • Experience with Italian or Spanish cuisine and beverage programs is a plus
  • Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to communicate in and understand English
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift as needed
