Position Purpose
Welcome and check-in members and guests to both the restaurant outlets and guest rooms at the club, assist Front Desk operations to ensure member experience is meeting club standards and tasks are completed efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Welcome members and guests to the club with a positive and warm attitude
•Take restaurant and room reservations accurately and efficiently
•Answer phone calls and emails with confidence and professional verbiage following club standards
•Work quickly with Seven Rooms and Peoplevine systems
•Ensure all rules of the club are understood and followed by all members and guests prior to entering the club
•Assist in printing daily menus for the club
•Acknowledge and anticipates guests’ needs and always responds promptly to maintain positive guest relations at all times
•Inform managers and the Membership team of any guest complaints, requests or problems
•Maintain an organized and clean work area
•Follow all front office standard operating procedures.
•Resolve member and guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
•Expedite member and guest check-ins and departures.
•Provide concierge-type services to guests.
•Update group information; maintain, monitor, and prepare group requirements; relay information to all concerned staff members.
•Manage the routing of telephone, mail and other messages to members and guests.
•Maintain effective relationships and communication with all other departments.
•Perform other appropriate tasks assigned by the Front Desk Manager.
Qualifications:
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new things regardless of previous job experiences.
• At least 2 years prior experience in customer service
• Prior restaurant or food and beverage experience a plus
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and quality.
• Good personal hygiene and grooming standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to interact with guests and team members professionally, including the ability to speak in front of small groups of team members.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($26.00)
