Lead Host

OLHSO Korean Steakhouse, located in San Mateo, is the vision of a South Korean tech company - SHINSTARR. We aim to provide a warm dining experience of Korean Barbeque for our guests with forward thinking technology. OLHSO serves the highest quality USDA Prime beef accompanied by a delicious wine list and a portfolio of Korean inspired cocktails. We are professionals committed to ensuring empathic hospitality and care to our guests.

We are seeking to hire a warm and effervescent host to join our passionate hospitality team.

**MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY**

• Graciously welcomes all guests, checks-in their reservation, and guides them to their assigned table.
• Willingness to acquire software fluency with the TOCK reservation system.
• Deploys effective communication skills
• Ensures guest feels SEEN and and LOOKED AFTER 
• Makes sure the host stand for ready for service at all times
• Offers assistance to all guests with coats, bags, luggage, umbrellas, etc. 
• Ability to coordinate with the Maitre d 
• Performs routine table and bathroom checks.
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods of time 
• Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as the business dictates.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Must be able to write clear and concise email(s) and have a clear and pleasant communcation style
• Polished personal grooming standards 
• Communicates information with precision and warmth.
